Drascombe luggers are universally popular trailer-sailers, providing both a safe and reliable starter boat for those new to sailing, and a capable and versatile vessel for the trailer-sailer / camping-cruiser enthusiasts.

Lotte is a much-loved boat and a familiar sight on the lochs around the Firth of Clyde, where she enjoys frequent outings. In ready-to-sail condition, she comes with her trailer and all the equipment needed to head out on a new adventure. Her owner replaced the sails in 2023 and refurbished the trailer in 2025. However, the needs of the next generation can require sacrifices on the part of their parents, so it is time for the Lotte chip to be cashed in and for the boat to meet her next skipper.

Camping and covers

Drascombes are popular for camping cruisers, and Lotte comes with infill boards to provide a flat and dry platform for her deck tent. Also included are all the necessary items for camping trips - tent, dry barrels etc.

There is a cockpit cover that drains to the cockpit seating scuppers when the boat is not in use, and her road trailer is complemented by the Spanset and mini-Spanset ratchet webbing set and tie-down blocks for protecting the spars in transit.
