A vessel with a very rich history. She was commissioned by the Kromhout engine factory as a demonstration vessel. Subsequently in service of the Dutch Royal Navy, after which she was temporarily taken over by the Ministry of Finance and used as a customs vessel 'Voorwaarts'. Until 1967, the Dutch Royal Navy and the Ministry of Finance alternately used the ship, after which she passed into various private hands. The current owner has thoroughly refurbished the ship and invested a lot to get her into her current condition. The hull, deck and superstructure were sandblasted and treated with a 2-component in 2023. The heart of the ship is a slow-running Bolnes 3 cylinder engine. The interior fore and aft has been completely removed and this gives the new owner the opportunity to design a new interior according to his own ideas. In our eyes, this is a great opportunity to get started with this special ship.

Ein Schiff mit einer sehr reichen Geschichte. Sie wurde von der Motorenfabrik Kromhout als Demonstrationsschiff in Auftrag gegeben. Un navire à l'histoire très riche. Il a été mis en service par l'usine de moteurs Kromhout en tant que navire de démonstration. Il a ensuite été mis en service par la Marine royale néerlandaise, avant d'être temporairement repris par le ministère des Finances et utilisé comme navire douanier "Voorwaarts". Een vaartuig met een zeer rijke historie. Ze is gebouwd in opdracht van de Kromhout motoren fabriek als demonstratievaartuig. Vervolgens in dienst van de Koninklijke Marine waarna ze tijdelijk werd overgenomen door het Ministerie van Financiën en als douanevaartuig ‘Voorwaarts’ werd ingezet. Tot 1967 hebben de Koninklijke Marine en het Ministerie van Financiën wisselend gebruik gemaakt van het schip waarna ze in diverse particuliere handen terecht is gekomen. De huidige eigenaar heeft het schip grondig onderhanden genomen en veel geïnvesteerd om haar in de huidige conditie te krijgen. De romp, het dek en de opbouw zijn in 2023 gestraald en met een 2-componenten systeem behandeld. Het hart van het schip is een langzaam lopende Bolnes 3 cilinder motor. Het interieur voor en achter is volledig verwijderd en dit geeft de nieuwe eigenaar de gelegenheid om het interieur naar eigen idee te ontwerpen. In onze ogen een geweldige kans om met dit bijzondere schip aan de slag te gaan.
