The fishing trawler Zeewoelf was built in 1960. After a long adventurous career in the north sea which included guarding oil rigs, Zeewoelf was converted from a commercial vessel to a cruising motor yacht in 2002.
In 2012 she was bought by the current owner. He sailed her down to the Med for an extensive refit, making her more comfortable for living and entertaining as well as giving her more autonomy through the addition of solar panels, water maker and updated navegation systems.
In 2014 Zeewoelf crossed the Atlantic. Sailing via Gibraltar and the Canaries to St Maarten and returning to the western Med via the Azores she proved herself as a seaworthy, competent vessel capable of long cruising periods without need of ports and of excellent economy under her reliable 407 hp Caterpillar engine that uses just 17 liters per hour at 7 knots.
Zeewoelf provides exceptional comfort and peace of mind for long sea voyages, short hops between islands or length stays in idyllic anchorages.

Der Fischtrawler Zeewoelf wurde 1960 gebaut. Nach einer langen abenteuerlichen Karriere in der Nordsee, die auch die Bewachung von Ölplattformen umfasste, wurde die Zeewoelf 2002 von einem Handelsschiff zu einer Motoryacht umgebaut.
Im Jahr 2012 wurde sie vom jetzigen Eigner gekauft. Er segelte mit ihr ins Mittelmeer, um sie einem umfassenden Refit zu unterziehen, der ihr mehr Wohn- und Unterhaltungskomfort sowie mehr Autonomie durch den Einbau von Sonnenkollektoren, einem Wassermacher und aktualisierten Navegationssystemen verschaffte.
Im Jahr 2014 überquerte Zeewoelf den Atlantik. Sie segelte über Gibraltar und die Kanaren nach St. Maarten und kehrte über die Azoren ins westliche Mittelmeer zurück. Dabei erwies sie sich als seetüchtiges, kompetentes Schiff, das lange Fahrten ohne Hafenaufenthalte unternehmen kann und dank seines zuverlässigen Caterpillar-Motors mit 407 PS, der bei 7 Knoten nur 17 Liter pro Stunde verbraucht, sehr wirtschaftlich ist.

Le chalutier Zeewoelf a été construit en 1960. Après une longue carrière aventureuse en mer du Nord, notamment en tant que gardien de plates-formes pétrolières, le Zeewoelf a été converti en 2002 d'un navire commercial en un yacht à moteur de croisière.
