Navigation System
The GPS comprises a Garmin GPSMAP 4008 series, together with a Garmin radar system which provides an overlay map to the GPS system. In addition the cockpit is fitted with Garmin VHF 100 RADIO and a Clipper marine steering compass. There is a facility on the system to add an additional feature and a camera has been fixed at the inner helm position to enable viewing of the depth sounder on the 4008 screen from the cockpit position. The picture above is prior to the radar & GPS being fitted.
There is also an ICOM hand held VHF.
