“Life begins @ 40 knots! – The motto of the Italian shipyard under German management already shows that we are dealing with the production of high-performance machines that can only be described with one word “brute”. The two Volvo Penta KAD 44 EDC engines, each with 243 HP and 650 operating hours, accelerate this five and a half ton boat to over 80 km/h, even nowadays!

This Performance 1107 from 1999 catches the eye – not only because of the typical PERFORMANCE sound when starting the engines, but above all because of the well-kept condition despite its “advanced age”. The (German) owner is still the first owner and stored “Assinie” every year from October to June in the winter place of the local Volvo Penta dealer, where it was serviced before the season. The corresponding maintenance records were carefully and chronologically filed over the years in the “boat folder”, that also contains original photos of the boat during the production period and when it was delivered in April 1999.

The last complete maintenance was carried out in June 2021, most recently both turbos and the starter motors of the KAD44 were replaced, the service batteries changed and a new winter cover purchased. The general overhaul of both DP drives for almost 30.000 € in 2016 is also worth mentioning, during that repair two new stainless steel propellers had also been installed.
