This Bavaria 300 Sport, built in 2002, is a sports cruiser of exceptional quality and boasts a large cockpit and offers good accommodation with four berths in two cabins. With only three owners since new, ‘Chango’ has been lovingly maintained and is in excellent condition. The current owners are only parting with her as they are upgrading to a larger boat for new adventures.
She has an extensive service history with the engines and outdrives having been serviced every year since 2005, along with anti-fouling and anode changes. A detailed survey was conducted in April 2022 and is available upon request. Engines last serviced September 2025.

Accommodation :
This 2002 Bavaria 300 Sport offers four berths in two cabins with 6” 3 headroom.
The forepeak offers a double V Berth with under berth and shelf storage to both port and starboard, an opening deck hatch for light and ventilation. This area is divided by a curtain.
The saloon offers a settee to the portside, with under berth storage and shelfing above and a central table.
Opposite the settee to the starboard side is the galley equipped with a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a 2-burner hob, 12v fridge and ample storage space. Hot water is provided by an engine calorifier and a 240V immersion tank. This Vessel benefits from a 150 Litre freshwater capacity.
The heads are located on the starboard side aft of the saloon featuring a marine sea toilet, mirror and shower with hot and cold water.
Located at the stern of the salon is a double berth under the cockpit sole with hanging storage and port light for natural light and ventilation.
Ascending the companionway to the cockpit, this area is perfect for socializing and relaxing. The cockpit offers a single helmsman seat to its starboard, a depth gauge, speedometer, Garmin GPS & sounder, steering compass, VHF, engine controls, and vessel control switches.
To the portside, a single booth seat with a reversable back rest converting from a navigator seat to a booth seating area with a central table at the stern of the vessel. Opposite the booth seating area is a small cockpit galley with a 12v Fridge that was replaced in 2024 and single sink.
This area also gives access to a transom gate that leads to the bathing platform, bathing ladder and transom shower
The engine bay is positioned under the cockpit floor which lifts via hydraulic ram.
This vessel benefits from white vinyl upholstery with blue trim, a Webasto Diesel Cabin heater, LED cabin lights fitted in 2022, and CD/Radio player with cockpit and saloon speakers fitted in 2024.

History and Construction:
Constructed by Bavaria in 2002, this vessel boasts a white GRP hull and decks with teak flooring and folding radar arch (Standard design). It is equipped with an Italian steering wheel 2024, stainless steel stanchions, and pulpit. The vessel also includes a glass windscreen with a chrome surround, a walk-through transom gate leading to the bathing platform.
Additionally, it has a self-draining cockpit. The vessel was last out of the water in March 2025, for antifouling, hull polish, anodes replaced and outdrive serviced. The owner is looking to sell the vessel and move to a larger boat.

Mechanical Systems:
This Bavaria 300 is powered by twin Volvo Penta KAD32, 170HP turbocharged diesel engines, with sterndrives each equipped with Stainless Steel Duo props. The engines and outdrives having been serviced every year since 2005, with the stern drives last serviced in March 2025 and the bellows replaced in April 2023.
These engines have completed approximately 2040 hours, are fresh water and seawater-cooled and were last serviced by the owner in September 2025 including a coolant change. These engines are supplied by a single 550-litre plastic fuel tank.
This Bavaria 300 has a cruising speed of approximately 24 knots and can reach a top speed of approximately 31 knots, the Bennets trim tabs were upgraded to the EIC500 model to provide digital positional display and control in 2023, and all four sterndrive trim rams were rebuilt in 2023/24.
Electrical Systems:
This sports cruiser has a total of 4 x 140AH 12-volt batteries, 1 per engine replaced in 2021, and 2 x domestic replaced in 2021.
These batteries are charged both by the alternator and a 240V battery charger.
The boat also benefits from a 240V shore power ring main powering the water immersion, battery charger and 13-amp sockets, lighting in the forward and aft cabins and mobile phone charging points 2023.
