The Toughs Cobra 33 is a 10-meter (approximately 33 feet) motor cruiser known for its exceptional sea-keeping capabilities and spacious accommodation, making it suitable for liveaboard use. Designed by Tough Bros of Teddington, it's a twin-screw vessel, powered by twin Ford 2740 ET (thought to be 180Hp) diesel engines. These boats are often recognized for their attractive lines and are popular among those seeking a classic motor yacht with a good performance record. This particular vessel has been the subject of some renovation and engine reconditioning. The decks need to be faired and painted and the interior saloon would benefit from some upgrades. This boat would make a good potential livaboard for a person with good DIY skills. She has quite a deep V hull and should handle very nicely on the water.
This Cabin cruiser can sleep 6 people. The forward berth can be a twin or double. The main saloon seating could be converted to a double berth. The saloon is to port with galley opposite. The galley is compact with stowage. The wheelhouse has ample seating with a generous helm and companion helm. There is additional seating which also can be used for 2 single berths. The helm is to port and benefits from good vision all around.
The wheelhouse has been the subject of much improvement. Linings to port and starboard have been renewed. The wheelhouse roof has been renewed. The Cockpit has a large seating area and is enclosed by a cockpit canopy. Note the canopy does fit but would benefit from repairs particularly a couple of zips. It also needs a good clean.
The wheelhouse had a professionally fitted roof and the linings to port and starboard were carried out too.

Both engines have had new alternators and starter motors and serviced in 2024. The vessel was then motored from Queenborough to Rochester. Rudder repaired and a new propellor. She was lifted ashore for work on wheelhouse.
