The Nautitech 46 Open series was launched in 2016 and follows the Open concept introduced by the shipyard two years earlier with the 40. The very forward cockpit partition offers a huge outdoor space, well protected by the large rigid bimini and its shade cloths. The shipyard has thus prioritized the living space in the tropics, even if the size of the 46 means the saloon maintains a lot of volume and light. Marc Lombard has once again designed a hull that allows for good averages, and the very reasonable displacement makes it an excellent light air boat. And this boat knows how to beat to the wind, leaving a bottom track at 90° from one side to the other, which is rare on a cat without fragile leeboards. As for the dual aft steering wheels, they allow the skipper to stay in contact with his crew without sacrificing the pleasure of steering his boat.
This unit was launched at the end of 2016 and was delivered in Martinique in the last weeks of the year. It has always been maintained by professionals. The boat is registered in Fort de France, with duties and VAT paid.
Today, it is well equipped for sailing in the Antilles, which it regularly cruises.
