Maxi Yachts of Sweden, founded with a reputation for crafting high-performance sailing yachts, rose to prominence under the design leadership of Pelle Petterson. Among its most celebrated models is the Maxi 1300, a sleek and powerful cruiser introduced in 2006 and produced until 2013, with only around 50 units built. As Petterson’s penultimate design, the Maxi 1300 blends Scandinavian craftsmanship with performance and cruising comfort, featuring a fractional sloop rig, spacious interior with three double cabins, and a Volvo Penta D2-55 engine.
It remains a rare and admired example of Maxi’s legacy in performance sailing.
