The Family pilot is a capable and seaworthy craft offering big boat accommodation and performance, yet it can still be readily recovered and trailed by a large family car. At low speed the steering characteristics are excellent and make gentle river cruising a pleasure, With the larger engine she will easily plane at 18 knots. The Galley area with new two burner gas cooker and new stainless sink is situated in the wheelhouse with full standing head room makes food preparation easy. The forward table converts the existing twin berths into a large double. A large quarter berth tucks neatly under the galley and can accommodate an adult or two small children. A second table allows for a fourth berth in the cockpit. The wide decks allow for easy movement around the deck and the new electric windless makes for safe anchoring. This boat has recently undergone a complete refit form the bottom of the hull to the top of the mast , she has many added extras including new Navigation equipment, a complete rewire , a new auxiliary engine , a fully serviced and overhauled main 75 HP engine with complete new fuel tanks and fuel system.
