Gozzard 36E Bluewater Cruiser – Fully Refit and Ready for Passage

INNISFREE is a Canadian-built Gozzard 36E designed for safe bluewater sailing and comfortable living. She lies in Licata, Sicily, and offers a stable platform for Mediterranean cruising. Her cutter rig, classic profile, and efficient interior suit a cruising couple who want strength and ease of use.

The 2021 refit renewed all major systems. It included a Beta 50 engine, new standing and running rigging, diesel hydronic heat, and a full electrical overhaul. In addition, she carries 400Ah of lithium power, about 850W of solar, and a complete Victron suite with a 2000W inverter/charger, Cerbo GX, and MPPT controllers. As a result, her energy system is reliable during long periods away from shore power.

Her sail plan makes short-handed sailing simple. She carries a 2023 Yankee, a self-tacking staysail, an asymmetric spinnaker, and storm sails. Also, all lines run aft to the cockpit for safe and easy handling. A mainsheet arch, strong davits, and a full cockpit enclosure add comfort and shelter in changing weather.

The interior is warm, bright, and practical. The layout offers a large aft berth, a forward salon that converts to a berth, a U-shaped galley with dinette, and a dedicated nav station. Moreover, the head includes a separate shower, which adds welcome comfort on longer trips. Her electronics suite is complete with B&G Zeus displays, radar, AIS, Iridium GO!, dual autopilots, and full NMEA2000 integration for smooth navigation.

INNISFREE also carries a Highfield UL260 dinghy, a Suzuki 6hp outboard, a 2024 Torqeedo electric motor, a 50L/h watermaker, and offshore safety gear. Together, these systems make her a capable and ready cruising yacht that supports independence at sea.

INNISFREE offers a rare chance to step aboard a proven Gozzard 36E already prepared for Mediterranean cruising and onward adventures.
