This tidy Dufour 30 Classic with shoal draft fin keel (1.14m draft) and tiller steering would make a great first "big boat" for a couple sailing with friends or family. Two owners from new. GRP hull, decks and coach roof in White with moulded non-slip finish where needed. Shallow draft fin keel (1.14M draft), spade rudder with tiller steering.
Mechanicals
Powered by a Volvo Penta MD2020 inboard diesel with saildrive and twin bladed fixed propeller. Last serviced March 2023.
Bank of 3 12V batteries provide engine start and service power. These are charged via the engine and a 30W solar panel on the coachroof. 180lt fuel tank.
Sails and Rigging
Bermudan Sloop with masthead rig. Deck stepped alloy mast and spars with stainless wire standing rigging. Most running rigging led aft to cockpit.
Slab reefing Mainsail (2002) with Lazy Jack Bag - said to be in "good serviceable condition"
Roller furling Genoa (2002) with UV strip - said to be in "good serviceable condition"
Accommodation and layout
Accommodation for up to 6 with fore and aft cabin double berths and 2 single saloon settee berths. Central dining table with 2 folding leaves.Galley with gas oven, 2 burner hob and grill, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, fridge and a good range of storage. Head compartment with sea toilet (holding tank), wash basin and shower with hot and cold water.
The interior is nicely fitted out with plenty of wood finish (varnished Mahogany with Teak and Holly flooring) for a warm, cosy feel. LED cabin lighting. Webasto forced air heating combined with a full cockpit enclosure extends comfortable use of the boat into the winter months. The cockpit table can be mounted in 2 different locations to suit the occasion and there is a push-pit mounted BBQ, ideal for summer. Sale includes a set of Denby crockery, crystal glasses and the commissioned oil painting.
