The Bluegame BG62 concept is by Luca Santella (former Olympic sailor for Italy), the naval architecture is by Lou Codega (famous for designing tough American offshore sportfishing boats), and the design is by Zuccon International Project (multi-award winning naval design studio), resulting in a motoryacht designed to make days at sea exciting yet relaxing, sporty yet comfortable.
Fitted with upgraded Volvo IPS1350 (1000hp per side) engines, the BG62 is blessed with a well-above-average power to weight ratio, which shows itself in how such a large and solid yacht manages to leap forward at even a gentle nudge of the throttle. With Lou Codega's incredible hull design, the yacht hits planing speed with minimal effort, and the deep-Vee and clever hull strakes push waves to the side with ease. When asked how this particular yacht handles, the Captain smiled widely and said ..she drives so well, handles rough water with no issue, and even speeds over 30 knots feel so smooth and easy..
In terms of soft touches and equipment, this sleek Italian yacht is fitted with beautiful carbon helm seats, Raymarine navigation aids, a full galley including induction cooktop, along with a BBQ grill and multiple outdoor social areas. The BG62 sleeps 4 in a comfortable two cabin and two heads layout. If another berth is needed, the saloon dining table can be converted to a bed. Tropical air-conditioning will keep you cool at night, and a Seakeeper 9 stabiliser will keep the yacht nice and stable while you dream about tomorrow's adventures at sea.
