The Hardy Seawings 254 is a practical 2+2 sports cruiser designed by Andrew Wolstenholme and built to Hardy's usual excellent standards, they make an excellent alternative to more common American rivals. Featuring a semi-enclosed wheelhouse that gives excellent visibility and shelter, and a deep-V hull design for confident seakeeping and sporty handling, they are a great choice for UK boating.
The Hardy Seawings 254 features a modern open-plan layout offering 2 berths in the cabin, with the possibility of 2 more in the cockpit when the weather allows!
Forward is a U-shaped seating area with a central table that drops to form a large double berth, stowage areas, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.
Aft to port is a linear galley area, conveniently positioned next to the sliding companionway for excellent ventilation and headroom, and equipped with a Plastimo Neptune 2-burner gas hob with grill, stainless steel sink, good storage, with a refrigerated coolbox fitted beneath the helm seat.
Aft to starboard is a separate moulded heads compartment with a chemical toilet, wash basin with shower attachment, mirror, opening portlight, and cupboard. Pressurised hot and cold water is supplied throughout by a calorifier with immersion coil.
Moving aft to the cockpit, the helm position to starboard offers excellent visibility and shelter from the elements, and a U-shaped cockpit seating area with a removable cockpit table can convert to a large sunpad/cockpit berth. This also features a removable centre section for easy access to the bathing platform which has fender storage, a swim ladder and hot and cold transom shower perfect for hosing off after a swim.
