Mechanical Systems
Located under the cockpit sole is the Beta Marine, 20hp, diesel engine, fitted new in 2017. 3 cylinders, fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft driven to a fixed 3 bladed propeller. Built by Westerly Marine Construction Ltd. in 1976. White GRP hull and white decks with grey painted non-slip surfaces. Cast iron twin keels. Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining centre cockpit. Last surveyed in 2021 with most recommendations carried out.
