The Spartan 23 'Heli', currently located in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, is a robust motor launch originally manufactured in 1980. 'Heli' is a Spartan 23 motor launch and was purchased by Pwllheli Sailing Club in 2001 and was transfered to Plas Heli in 2015. Heli has been successfully used as a Committee Boat and Pin End boat for numerous championships and regattas over the years.
When at anchor it is recommended to deploy two ‘Rocker Stoppers’ (one each side) These help considerably to stop Heli from rolling in the waves, and makes Heli an extremely stable platform as a Committee Boat
