Sasanka have made a name for making true trailer sailers. The innovative wishbone system for raising and lowering the mast makes this easy and once the rig is up, the wishbone neatly forms a toe rail. The practical interior has accommodation for 4 with and aft double berth, 2 generous saloon berths, galley with 2 burner gas hob, sink with cold water and storage. The separate heads compartment has a chemical toilet.
Construction:
GRP construction with lifting keel (0.33 m to 1.22m draft), transom hung ridder with tiller steering.
Mechanicals:
Powered by a transom mounted Mercury F4MLH 4hp outboard with 12l remote tank. Last serviced in 2024. Single 12V leisure battery (2024).
Rigging and sails:
Bermudan Sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging (renewed 2022, backstay 2023). The built in mast raising system allows the rig to be stepped single handed, though easier with two. Boom furling mainsail and roller furling Genoa.
