A Need for Accessible Sailing Boats
Open the Water to Everyone – The Wheelchair-Accessible Nautitech Open 50
Imagine a sailing experience where everyone, regardless of mobility, can take the helm, feel the wind, and share the joy of life at sea. The wheelchair-accessible Nautitech Open 50 makes that possible.
For charter companies, RYA training centres, and fleet operators, adding an accessible catamaran isn’t just a smart business decision, it’s a commitment to inclusivity. With more than 14 million people in the UK living with a disability, there’s a growing community who want to sail but can’t, simply because the right facilities aren’t available.
The Nautitech Open 50 changes that. Its wide beam offers exceptional stability and comfort, while the wheelchair adaptations, accessible decks and helm access to adapted cabins and companionways - ensure genuine freedom on board.
For private owners, it’s the ultimate opportunity to share sailing with friends and family of all abilities. For operators, it means opening your doors to a whole new audience, and leading the way in making sailing truly inclusive.
Freedom, performance, and inclusivity, all in one extraordinary catamaran.
