The Martello Shipyard has been handed down for generations of shipwrights, and was founded in 1928 on the beach of the "Martelluccio" by Federico De Marco. A great innovator, Carlo De Marco was the one who began the process of modernization of the company, immediately bringing the name of the shipyard to be recognized as a national leader in the construction of fishing boats, first in wood and later also in steel and fiberglass.
