The Marex 440 is a new generation of cruisers with contemporary design lines and numerous innovations. With a length of 13.70 meters and a maximum beam of 4.27 meters, this new boat is set to become the brand's flagship.
The idea is to create a family boat with a focus on easy living and have the experience of cruising a much larger ship.
The largest kitchen in its class, the beach club near the water, two bathrooms and a washing machine are examples of this idea.
The Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser is the result of a collaboration between Marex's in-house design team and Slovenian studio VOM Creations Yacht Design.
The naval architecture was provided by Nikl design and Engineering from Alpha Creations.
The model has the quickest and easiest way to close the open cockpit deck, existing on the market.
The curtains are hidden in the arch of the plaque and slide like a curtain. The canopy can be attached with a single outlet. No buttons or elastics. From open boat to fully enclosed boat in less than a minute!
The cockpit has a dining area for up to 10 guests. The table can be lowered, creating a space for a large sundeck/berth. The optional swivel chairs can also be adjusted in height, depending on use with the bar or table.
The 440 has pilot and sliding doors. This allows freedom of movement for the captain and guests, while also letting in fresh air.
There is a large seating area with soft integrated backrests for guests to enjoy the proximity to the sea.
A hydraulically operated swim platform can also carry a tender while sailing and has steps to get in and out of the water easily and safely.

The boat will have 2 Layouts: 440 Gourmet Cruiser with a huge U-shaped galley layout and 440 Scandinavia Version with a second dining room in an enclosed salon.
One of the innovations of the 440 Gourmet Cruiser is the galley.
Marex has created a chef's dream with a huge U-shaped kitchen layout, the largest in its class.
It has an oven/microwave, double sink, induction hob and dishwasher.
It also has an opening in the countertop for storing 4 cases of beer/beverages of 24 boxes each.
The solar panels provide enough capacity to keep the 220-litre fridge and 100-litre freezer permanently running without shore power.
The Scandinavia version can offer an additional dining area with a large sofa and two retractable stools instead of the kitchen furniture on the left.
