This 2003, very well kept, Etap 24i is equipped to a far higher level than most. Originally Solent based, it has been on Windermere for several years now. The current owner has had a Torqeedo 4.0 FP electric motor with saildrive style pod (2021) professionally fitted and there is also an outboard bracket if you prefer.
It has a full cockpit canopy, new foresail summer 2024, brand new set of cabin cushions, autopilot, holding tank and much more. The 2018 twin axle Mersea road trailer included.
Construction:
GRP double skin with foam filling makes the Etap virtually unsinkable with better sound and temperature insulation than most boats. Shallow draft tandem keel (0.85m draft), twin rudders and tiller steering.
Mechanicals:
Powered by a 2021 Torqeedo Cruise 4FP 8hp pod drive with 2 x 24-3500 Lithium batteries. There is a transom mounted outboard bracket for an auxiliary motor if required. Shore power connection, 240v sockets, battery charger. 120ah domestic leisure battery. Optional Forgen wind generator.
Rigging and sails:
Deck stepped alloy mast and spars with stainless wire standing rigging. Dyneema running rigging led aft to cockpit. Slab reefing Mainsail with 3 reefs and Lazy Jack bag, roller furling foresail (new 2024) and both conventional and asymmetric spinnakers. Selden rod kicker.

Accommodation:
Accommodation for 4 crew with a V berth double cabin and 2 saloon berths aft. A removeable table can be mounted in the saloon or cockpit. Galley facilities with an Origo double burner spirit hob, sink with manual cold water and an electric cool box mounted under the V berth. The separate heads has a sea toilet with holding tank. Brand new cabin and cockpit covers have just been fitted in August 2025. The full cockpit enclosure (2023 / 24) greatly adds to the living space.
