The Custom Built John Gaff 8.25, available for sale at Troon Yacht Haven in the UK, is a classic wooden fishing boat from 1985, ideal for day trips and leisure cruising. It's a traditional vessel constructed with Larch on oak by John Gaff in Nobles Yard, Girvan, and later restored by John S Hill. The boat features a wheelhouse with excellent visibility, a small cabin with V berth seating, and a spacious cockpit for fishing. Powered by a rebuilt Fordson Super Major 70hp diesel engine, the boat also boasts a new gearbox installed in 2024. Equipped with navigation and safety instruments, such as Raymarine Dragonfly 5 and Furuno GPS, it also includes a teak deck and several deck utilities. Recently repainted and antifouled in March 2025, this well-maintained vessel requires an appointment for viewing. Please note that its liferaft is currently out of service.
