Zay Zay is possibly unique, being in the same ownership since new in 1980 and largely unchanged from the day she was delivered. Maintained by Jeremy Rogers Yachts, she still reatins the original Lister Petter engine which has been recently serviced and in lovely condition having been completely re-built on 2 occassions. Whilst the engine runs, for reliability and some extra power, a new engine would be the choice of most new owners of Zay Zay. Important updates have been made to electronics systems and stainless steel standing rigging renewed this year. She has a history of cruising and racing with many RORC races including 2 Fastnet races but not much used in recent years. Zay Zay has been laid up ashore each winter for several months. She represents an opportunity to own some maritime history in a condtion rarely found in the class.
