In 2017, "EMMA" underwent a complete renovation at Hvide Sande Yachtwarf. The work included i.a. replacement of all electricity on board with complete Mastervolt system for power management and self-supply from solar panels, wind generator and towing generator, optimized for self-supply. One display now gives status on everything from tanks to batteries and shore power.
New cockpit is optimized for solo sailing and prepared for bimini, sprayhood or similar.
In addition, a new engine, new generator and a new water-borne oil boiler were installed. The cost of the upgrade amounted to 2.3 million DKK, - invoice is available.
