1989 Channel Island 32, designed by Alan Buchanan and built by Silva Yates in Jersey, with twin 200 hp Volvo Penta TAMD41A 6-cylinder diesel engines which have been regularly serviced by the current owner (last service carried out in April 2025). Shortly after purchasing the boat, the current owner commissioned Desty Marine (Hamble) to carry out an extensive refit in 2020 / 21 which included the hull being peeled / epoxy treated (Gelshield Plus), topsides being sprayed (Awlcraft 2000) and both engines being removed for a no expense spared overhaul / rebuild and paint job. Other refit items included new deck hatch, portlights, cabin side / head linings, electronics, navigation lights, windscreen wipers, cabin heating, pilothouse window seals and Treadmaster non-slip cockpit decking. A fully equipped example of these renowned semi-displacement motor cruisers with accommodation for 3 persons and great potential for exploring local waters and the adjacent coast.
