STEVE II is a remarkable sailing yacht, custom-built by the renowned shipyard BUISSIER Charpentier de Marine in Cannes, following the design of acclaimed naval architects BOUVET - PETIT. Launched in 2011, this 17.40-meter cutter sloop perfectly embodies the spirit of long-distance cruising: seaworthy, robust, elegant, and easy to handle with a small crew.
Designed for blue water cruising, STEVE II harmoniously blends classic lines with modern construction techniques. Her hull is built in mahogany strip planking with epoxy and fiberglass sheathing, offering both strength and lightness. She features a 20-meter aluminium SPARCRAFT mast, brand new 2023 ELVSTROM sails, and modern rigging, delivering an upwind sail area of 157 m² and impressive sailing performance.
The yacht’s interior is spacious and well-designed for onboard comfort. The night area includes 4 cabins and 2 bathrooms. The large, light-filled saloon can comfortably host up to eight guests, while the U-shaped galley is fitted like a real home kitchen, with ample storage, a large refrigerator, and a CANDY washing machine.
