Accommodation :
The Aquanaut 1500 Drifter offers accommodation for four people across two cabins with cherry woodwork, blue carpets and plenty of natural light throughout the vessel. The vessel has been fully insulated with foam and benefits from double glazing and a Kabola heating system throughout.
The fore cabin offers a large V-berth with under-berth storage. This cabin also includes a hanging wardrobe to starboard and additional shelf space above the berth to both port and starboard.
Located on the port side is access to the ensuite heads compartment, which features a white sink set in a vanity unit with pressurised hot and cold water, under-sink storage, an electric marine toilet, a built-in shower tray with a shower curtain, a mixer shower attachment, a mirror, and a radiator.
The galley is located amidships across both port and starboard sides and includes a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a Siemens dishwasher, a Waeco fridge to port, and a Waeco 80L freezer to starboard. To port, you’ll find a four-burner Siemens electric hob, with a Siemens electric oven with microwave and grill to starboard. The galley area benefits from Corian worktops, 240-volt sockets, and ample storage space on both kitchenettes.
This Aquanaut 1500 Drifter benefits from two 200-litre freshwater tanks with a total capacity of 800 litres and two holding tanks: one forward (200L) and one aft (200L). Hot water is provided by a 240V immersion heater as well as an engine Calorifier system.
Ascending into the main saloon, this area offers great natural light and excellent visibility through three large forward-facing windows and four side-facing windows to both port and starboard. The saloon includes two Stressless reclining chairs, a folding desk, storage units to both port and starboard, a coffee table, and 240V sockets.
Steps at the rear of the saloon lead down to the owner’s cabin, which features a large central double bed with under-bed storage and ample storage on either side of the bed, including a hanging wardrobe to port and starboard. The owner’s cabin also includes an ensuite with a sink set in a vanity unit with under-sink storage, equipped with hot and cold water, a mirror, and an electric marine toilet. There is also a seperate shower.
This vessel also benefits from a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the passageway to the owner’s cabin. It also has insect screens and blinds to all windows.
The companionway leads to the aft cockpit, with an external helm located on the starboard side, featuring a single helm seat with full engine controls and operational navigation aids, as well as a navigator seat to starboard. This area is complete with a fully enclosed canopy and seating pods at the stern of the cockpit. The cockpit also provides access to the bathing platform via a stainless-steel ladder, a transom crane, and access to both port and starboard decks.

The Aquanaut 1500 Drifter is a proud example of Dutch craftsmanship, built by Aquanaut Yachting Holland, a family-owned shipyard with a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality steel motor yachts since the 1960s. The 1500 Drifter model is constructed with a heavy-gauge steel hull and superstructure, offering outstanding strength, durability, and stability. This vessel was last out of the water in September 2024 for a full hull and topside repaint, antifouling, anodes replacement, and engines service. This Aquanaut 1500 Drifter has twin 135hp Perkins M135 naturally aspirated diesel engines, driving shafts with 2 x 4-bladed fixed propellers with rope cutters.
The engines are freshwater-cooled and have completed a total of Port 1495 and Starboard 1502 as of 10th April 2025. These engines were last serviced in September 2024.
There are two 200-litre stainless steel fuel tanks, giving a total fuel capacity of 400 litres. This vessel has also been fitted with a Diesel Dipper fuel polishing system in 2021 this system is connected to both tanks.
This vessel has a cruising speed of approximately 8 knots with a top speed of approximately 10 knots with a range of approximately 2285 nautical miles.
To make handling easy, this boat is fitted with 2 x 160KG hydraulic bow and stern thrusters.
Electrical Systems:
The Aquanaut 1500 Drifter is equipped with eight 12-volt batteries. (2 x engine) + (6 x domestic)
These batteries are charged both by the alternator and battery charger when connected to the 240V power system. The 24V Management system ensures optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
This Aquanaut 1500 Drifter also benefits a 240v ring main throughout, a Mastervolt 2500-watt Inverter, an immersion heater, a Mastervolt 12 Ultra battery charger and a Whisper onboard generator.
