Here is what the Powerboat Guide Says about the Albin 32+2:
The Albin 32+2 Command Bridge (called the 32 Sport Fisher until 1997) represented a departure from Albin’s trawler-boat heritage when she was introduced back in 1989—an attempt to crack the sportfishing market with a practical and fuel-efficient trunk cabin express cruiser. She’s built on a sea kindly modified V hull with a full-length, prop-protecting keel and moderate transom deadrise. Originally offered with a convertible dinette forward and a private stateroom aft, a tri-cabin layout has been available since 1995. (Note that the deckhouse and flybridge were also updated in 1995.)
Cabin headroom is excellent thanks to the step-up command bridge, there’s a stall shower in the head, and the galley (in the original floorplan) has been called a model of efficiency. Twin hatches in the cockpit sole provide good access to the engine and V-drive unit. Additional features include wide side decks, a transom door, an integral swim platform (since 1997), and teak interior trim work. Among several single- and twin-engine installations, a single 300hp Cummins (or Cat) diesel will cruise the Albin 32+2 Command Bridge around 18 knots (23–24 knots top) with a 700+ mile range. A bow thruster was standard in later models.
Accommodations
Centerline queen berth with a 2015 custom mattress that folds up to access storage below, two hanging lockers and multiple drawers. Separate shower stall with seat and a Vacuflush Marine Head. The main cabin can accommodate two occasional overnight guests when you convert the dinette to a huge double berth.

A queen size forward cabin with a center dinette that converts to a king-size berth or two single berths. The galley includes two refrigerators, a double sink, a microwave, a coffee maker, and ample cupboard and drawer storage.
The large cockpit with deck lockers and a transom door leading to the integrated swim platform ensure safety and accessibility for all water sports. The Albin 32 + 2 is available as a single-engine boat only. The panoramic view from the command bridge, the wide side decks and the large cockpit are unique features in a boat of this size. Her speed range is 17 to 24 knots, depending on the power plant.
