Used steel sailboat Trireme 43.
This Trireme 43 is a beautiful blue-water cruising yacht. The hull was built in steel in 1983 by the "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" shipyard to plans by the architect François CHARPENTIER, renowned for having designed the TRIREME series of yachts, models from 43 to 60 feet.
This is a boat designed for sailing comfort and habitability during stopovers. The triple-chine hull is made of sheet steel welded to T-beams. Sheet thickness is 4mm for the upper chine, 5mm for the intermediate chine and 6mm for the bottom chine.
The reliability of the construction by the "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" shipyard and the protective treatment of the steel structure, originally carried out by the owner, are of a quality rarely seen on units of this type.
