Summary

Seize the opportunity to own a piece of maritime history with the Custom Gaff Cutter 22, a beautiful synthesis of classic and modern yacht design. Built by the renowned Benfleet Boat Co. in 1987, this cutter is modelled on a 1934 design by Reg Freeman, but includes the graceful addition of a counter stern. The cold molded hull marries the charm of a classic wooden yacht with the easy maintenance of a modern GRP yacht, offering the best of both worlds. "Sarah", as she is affectionately named, comes with accommodation for up to four people, featuring two full-sized berths in the saloon and two single berths suitable for children. There is also a stainless steel galley sink and manual sea toilet aboard. The gaff rigged cutter is complete with a deck-stepped mast, stainless steel standing rigging, and Wykeham Martin head sail furling systems. The boat is fitted with a 12V domestic battery, a solar panel, and can house an 8hp outboard engine. Navigational equipment includes a Navico depth instrument, VHF, and a steering compass. Despite needing some maintenance, Sarah is a delight to behold. Your bids are welcomed above the indicated price by midday on 31st May 2024.
