The Westerly 33 ketch is a desirable bilge keel version of these popular cruising yachts in a good condition for her age, offering excellent accommodation and good sea keeping. The boat has been in the same ownership for 32 years.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers seven berths in three cabins with full standing headroom.  In forecabin, V berth with stowage under.  Opening hatch to foredeck.  Hanging locker.  Separate heads to port with marine toilet, shower and washbasin.  In saloon, two settee berths, one converting to double.  Fixed table with drop leaves.  Chart table to port with galley opposite.  Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven.  Stainless steel sink. Hot and cold pressurised water system.  Refrigerator.  Steps up to cockpit.  Separate aft cabin with two single berths.  Eberspacher diesel fired hot air central heating.

Construction

Built in 1978 by Westerly Yachts to a design by Laurent Giles & Partners.  White GRP hull.  Teak rubbing strakes.  White GRP superstructure with painted non-slip deck.  Twin keels.  Skeg hung rudder. Wheel steering.  Centre self draining cockpit.  Epoxied below the waterline in 1992.
