- Rare floating furniture; first launched in 1958.
- Totally renovated in 2014 with most original parts retained.
- For those who want to cruise as stylishly as possible!
Riva Yachts is one of the world's most reputable shipyards of all time and has roots back to 1870, they manufacture their boats in northern Italy and their models now include boats from approx. 27 to 130 feet.
For most people, who have any idea about boats, it is a dream to ever be able to own a Riva, and 'Ariston' is probably their most dreamed-about model of all time.
Maybe it's the Ariston's arched hull shape in exclusive mahogany (wood); original straight fore; beautiful exterior chrome details and/or luxurious coloring that managed to create such a historically strong desire - no one knows for sure.
This example is from the year 1958 with no. 187 instances and is a rare version of the Ariston with a flat nose", i.e. a straighter front than its descendants (which thus became slightly longer, but otherwise with the same hull).
A complete renovation was done in 2014 by its current owner in terms of both hull, engine, textiles and chrome details and it has since been used very sparingly, of which the condition is very good.
Among the equipment list are:
Sunbed to the stern, new port canopy, mahogany bathing ladder, chromed: (search lights, lanterns, details), original instrument panel: (speed, oil pressure, battery voltage), signal horn, starter battery, bottom painting, flag pole with flag, electric bilge pump, etc.
The propulsion is provided by a shaft-driven Riva GM V8 of approx. 330 horsepower, it provides a pleasant cruising speed of approx. 23 knots and a top speed of up to approx. 40 knots and the running hours are estimated at only approx. 20h.
In summary, the Riva Ariston is the boat of the boat, for those who only settle for the best and want to be associated with a floating lifestyle icon!
