OWNERS COMMENTS:
We have owned “Furious” since July 2018, but sadly due to health problems she was put ashore under cover where she has remained to this day, with only 10 hours use by us under our ownership.
She is however a lovely example of these fine vintage sports cruisers, and has been meticulously maintained in the past with both her engines serviced annually and always wintered ashore.
Because of our lack of use we have consciously tried to keep her in the condition we found her in, and mothballed her by storing her undercover, hence the reason why the engines haven’t been re serviced since we bought her in 2018.
She was very up to date were her maintenance program when we bought her and have only had to deal with a small section of Rot in the back window (noted in the 2018 survey) which is now done.
2018 survey available by request.
(Nb: At the time of this survey she was called “Saltwater Lady” But was originally called “Furious”, so when purchased by the current owner he changed her back to “Furious” as the then seller wanted to retain the name “Saltwater Lady”)
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Fairey Marine built nearly 60 Swordsman boats between 1964 and 1974. They were a development of the Huntsman 31 express cruiser but with greater emphasis on accommodation and less on engine space. The Super Swordsman benefits from the raised aft cabin with full headroom and its additional en suite head compartment. This actual boat “Furious” was actually built after Fairey Marine had stopped building the Swordsman 33’s, but at the persistence of a wealthy enthusiast, the first owner, this one was commissioned and hence being the very last one ever built.
