English
Based on similar lines to the Folkboat, Contessa 26's are very sea kindly due to long keel with cutaway forefoot. Despite her long keel, she is relatively easy to manoeuvre in marinas. The relatively narrow beam creates an easily-driven hull and the helm remains light and balanced. Jasmine carries full sail happily into Force Five and is then easy to reef with roller reefing Genoa and slab-reefing main. Regularly clocking speeds in excess of 6kts plus in force 4 to 5 conditions.
Jasmine has been used for family cruising around the channel islands for the last five years. And is currently moored at St. Aubin’s Harbour.
