Everything you've heard and read of a DALE hull
lifts your expectations...
"peerless"
"a phenomenal driving experience"
"supreme comfort and security"
...as you open the throttles and the Classic 35 lifts her graceful skirts to astonishing levels, you start to appreciate just why such praise is written.
A single 400hp Volvo D6* lifts her out of the water with no fuss to 20 knots in just 11 seconds and on to 30 knots in 30 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 33 knots.
Yet the sports boat-like performance only begins the story.
Helming the 35 is about connecting with the sea in a way which inspires confidence and brings a smile to your face.
The hull's grip through a tight turn feels like it wants to make a mockery of g-forces.
A supreme ride paves a smooth path through seas that would challenge much larger craft.
The 35 has all the abilities she needs, and more in reserve, to cruise in absolute control and total comfort.
The addition of DALE Classic 35, ‘Dashing’ onto our brokerage presents a truly unique opportunity to purchase a stunningly beautiful, high performing, custom built classic, constructed to the highest standards with unique attention to detail and unparalleled levels of finish, achieved to meet the exacting standards of the owner who commissioned her.
Built in 2014 by her present owner in a unique and enduring collaboration between DALE and the renowned Nelson designer, Arthur Mursell, the design brief was to create a top performing family day boat with the option as a weekender for two persons. The quality of construction, attention to detail and overall feel and finesse are sky high. The team of craftsmen here at DALE have applied their superlative skills to combine both the finest traditions in boat building and the use of twenty-first century materials in equal measures creating a top-quality achievement in both craftsmanship and design. Her build was captured in full in a three-part extended feature article in Motorboat and Yachting Magazine in 2014 and 2015. The story of her conception, the build and following her launch, the sea trial with Deputy Editor at the time, Jack Haines provides an insight into the levels of quality and performance which she delivers. Add to this the reassurance that she not only looks good but she has all the traits and dependability of the Nelson name, Dashing meets the needs of the most experienced sea goers in abundance ….. in a nutshell, exhilarating whilst solidly capable at sea.
She can only be described as being in superb condition, lovingly maintained with a fully documented maintenance record, wintered indoors for six months yearly and with less than 500 engine hours.
