Summary

An exceptional example of a cherished 1984 Westerly Corsair 36 is now on sale for £49,000. This universally admired and capable cruising yacht, known as SEAGO, comes with a treasure trove of upgrades and quality workmanship that makes it a superb value for any prospective yacht owner. Its shallow-fin keel, recently serviced in 2021, allows it to comfortably sail both in open oceans and narrow estuaries. Boasting of only 200 engine hours and a new suite of sails used only for around 15 weeks, this yacht is in excellent sea-ready condition. The boat has a delightful teak-replacement deck, refurbished upholstery, and upgraded instruments adding to its appeal. With its centre-cockpit design and an ample owners’ cabin, twin heads, and generous accommodation, it promises comfortable sea journeys. Currently berthed in Hamble, this yacht is set to be re-launched in April, offering comfortable living quarters with sleep capicity for eight, a practical galley, spacious aft owner’s cabin with ensuite heads, and a variety of modern navigation equipment. The hand-laid GRP hull, Dek-king ‘Flexi-Teak’ deck, and teak cockpit contribute to the distinctive look and durability of this beautiful yacht. A must-see for water enthusiasts seeking their next quality seafaring acquisition.

About this Westerly Corsair 36

Remarks :

Westerly Corsair 36 for sale.  Launched in 1984 SEAGO has been owned and meticulously cared for by her previous owners for some 22 years.  Typically laid up ashore between extended summer cruises she is dry and in fine condition.  With her shallow-fin keel that was overhauled in 2021 she is equally at home in rivers and estuaries as well as on the open seas.  Benefitting from a recent engine upgrade with only 200 hours and a new suite of sails (used for only approximately 15 weeks since new), together with delightful teak-replacement decks, refurbished upholstery and upgraded instruments, this high quality cruising yacht really should be inspected in order to appreciate her condition and presentation.  Centre-cockpit with a spacious owners’ cabin, twin heads plus plenty of accommodation for crew and for guests. Currently ashore in Hamble, due to be re-launched in April
