Meridian Yachts, a prominent name in the boating world, emerged into existence back in 2002 under the esteemed banner of Brunswick Boat Group, a division of Brunswick Corporation. The brand was established with the ambition to design and craft a range of luxurious, full-featured yachts that could offer unparalleled cruising and live aboard comfort. From day one, the Washington-based boat manufacturer set out to conquer the boating industry, offering a range of sedan bridge and pilothouse yachts that were characterised by superior navigation technology, exquisite craftsmanship, distinguished design, and remarkable performance level.
Building on its initial success, Meridian Yachts continuously set new standards for design innovation and engineering prowess in the yachting industry. Over time, with an unwavering commitment to quality, utilising state-of-the-art technology and relying on experienced craftspeople, Meridian produced luxury cruisers that went down as landmarks in industry history. In 2008, they even won the NMMA Innovation Award which testified for their design innovation and quality of build.
Today, Meridian Yachts stands as an icon of quality and is famed for making boating accessible and enjoyable to boating enthusiasts of all levels. In 2018, however, Brunswick Corporation announced that it would discontinue the Meridian brand as a standalone entity and incorporate its assets and models into their Sea Ray line. Even though this marks the end of their standalone manufacturing, the essence of Meridian Yachts continues to live on within the Sea Ray family of boats. Therefore, today, the legacy of Meridian stands under the banner of Sea Ray and the brand is, formally, based out of Knoxville, Tennessee where Sea Ray's headquarters are set.
