1989 Nimbus 3400, designed by Rolf Eliasson, with 200 hp Volvo Penta TAMD41B diesel engines on shafts and comprehensive inventory. A fully maintained example of these quality built family motor cruisers, with ‘Divinycell’ insulated double skinned hull, which was initially displayed at the London Earls Court Boat Show before being commissioned for its sole owner in February 1990. Lightly used in recent years having been stored ashore for an extended period during Covid (October 2019 – July 2021). In addition to the engines being serviced on a regular basis (last serviced in December 2023), the owner has undertaken a continual programme of maintenance and upgrading, which most recently included new alternators, gearbox / shaft seals, cutlass bearings, Vetus sea water strainers, through hull exhaust elbows, toilet seacocks, all accessible engine / domestic pipework, s/s anode bolts, port rope cutter, fridge, deck hatch, tender and cockpit / aft cabin carpets. British Part 1 registered. Boat lifted out for pressure clean and anode change in June 2024. Berth at Beaucette Marina is available, making it an ideal choice as a live-aboard or for any UK residents wanting a “holiday cottage” in the Channel Islands. Now seriously ‘For Sale’ as the owner is in his 80’s and retiring from boating.
