"Johanne Louise" - a solid long-distance sailor.
Peter Roos design - built in 1992 - is being sold by its second owner. Since 1992, Johanne Louise has proven her worth as a training ship, charter ship and not least as a long-distance sailor. She is well-maintained in every way, the paint looks fresh everywhere and generally bears the stamp of thorough maintenance on all the essential parameters.
Especially worth mentioning are the masts, which are made of knot-free Silver Spruce, newly renovated with 12 layers of varnish, razor sharp and like new. The boat is in the water all year round, and for winter storage the masts are removed and the accompanying tent with full standing height is installed.
In the past 6 years, the boat has been on the bed 7(!) times, - exclusively for service checks and bottom painting. Below the waterline, she thus also appears extremely well-kept.
Between 2018 and 2020, the current owners have sailed in the Caribbean, and here the boat has really managed to form the framework for a good adventure as an extremely stable and calm cross-Atlantic World Cruiser, and especially also as a safe base at countless anchorages. That oversized anchor gear and the size and weight of the boat make it safe to anchor in the most exposed places. With its bulwarks and high fenders, the boat is thoroughly a safe boat, which very rarely takes water on deck. This means that the boat's entire deck area is usable during even quite rough sailings.
Under deck, the boat is equipped with a very well-equipped pantry, 9 berths spread over two double cabins - a four-person cabin in the foredeck and a plug-in berth. In addition, there are two berths in the salon. Also included is a inflatable boat with 15 hp outboard motor, and the boat is thus completely ready for long trips!
