Jefferson Yachts, a prestigious name in the boating industry, first began its operations in 1982. The company's founder, Leon Shaw, started the venture with a passion for seafaring and the vision to create one of the world's finest luxury yachts in the marketplace. For over two decades, the firm operated out of Production Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, producing a diverse range of high-quality and distinctive motor yachts. These yachts, well esteemed for their exquisite designs, superior performance and state-of-the-art technology, have since catered to the varied preferences of discerning mariners worldwide.
In 2008, due to the economic recession, Jefferson Yachts sadly ceased its production. Undaunted by the adversity, Leon committed to servicing existing Jefferson Yachts, commenced building Royale Palm Custom Yachts and began offering brokerage services in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This allowed him to connect with new and existing clientele, as well as keeping the Jefferson legacy alive by overseeing the maintenance and customisation of existing Jefferson Yachts.
Today, while Jefferson Yachts is no longer in operation, its legacy continues to hold a special place in the heart of avid boaters, especially trawler enthusiasts. Jefferson Yachts are highly coveted in the pre-owned yacht market for their exceptional quality and enduring design. They are a testament to Leon Shaw's unrivalled craftsmanship and dedication to naval architecture. Despite the company's journey and evolution over the past 39 years, Jefferson Yachts' enduring legacy continues to uphold its founder's vision - to create truly exceptional yachts of superior quality.
