New sails March 2022
This Moody 419 sailing sloop, designed by Bill Dixon and built by Marine Projects in England has a hull and deck of GRP construction, fitted with a fin type keel and hanging rudder.
Current owner of this Moody 419 since 2011. Owned by a former New Zealand Olympic Sailor.
EU VAT paid, this Moody 419 is currently registered under New Zealand Flag and easily transferred to any other Flag State.
Accommodation
There is accommodation for seven persons. as follows: in the forward V cabin (two persons), in the living room (two persons), in the port forward cabin (one person), in the aft cabin (two persons). The lower bunk bed of the port forward cabin is modified to storage space, but can easily be modified to the original bed, as same has not been removed.
There are two heads fitted, one at forward on the starboard side fitted with sink and shower with drain facilities, and one en-suite with the aft cabin at port aft side with a sink but no shower.

Rigging and Sails
The yacht is rigged as a Bermudan masthead sloop, and with two sets of spreaders.
There is an inner forestay fitted for use of the storm jib, which can also carry an inner foresail. When not in use can be easily moved aft near the mast.
There is a furling arrangement for the headsail, and slab type reefing for the mainsail. (3 reefs)
The standing rigging is wire type. Spinnaker pole fitted.
There is a spare main halyard.
There is a spare shroud with fittings to replace any of the shrouds in case of emergency.
