The Princess 33 is a very capable British built offshore motor cruiser with a great pedigree. Twin Volvo diesels, and a solid hull makes for comfortable passage making and a good ability to cope when the conditions get tough. This version is the "Y" shaped, semi-displacement hull option making her more suited for rougher water passage making, instead of outright top-speed.
This example, "Megan" comes to the market as a bereavement sale - and has been laid up ashore for a few years, and so is in need of some TLC in order to return her to full commission - which is refelected in the asking price.
The boat feels good and dry inside - the uphostery in the forcabin is very faded and in our view needs replacing.
The forecabin has a V-berth (twin or fills in to make a double).
The dinette area (to port) converts to anothe double berth - the galley and heads are to starboard. There is a
new electric flush sea-toilet in the heads which is part-way through being fitted.
Up in the wheelhouse there is another long sofa, which can also covert to a double berth.
Hot water is supplied via an engine calorifier to the galley and heads (basin and shower)
The engine hour meter shows 1130 hours - which we have no reason to believe are not accurate and genuine - but we also cannot guarantee.
Engines start and run nicely - transmissions seem smooth (last run out of water November 2022 prior to winterisation)
(4 x) brand new batteries have been put into the boat in Summer 2021
