Mayflower Marina is exhibiting at stand K65 at this year’s Southampton Boat Show and it is certainly worth a visit. The team will be offering some great deals including; 50% discount off a night’s berthing, and up to 10% discount on visitors fees for a whole month. For those looking for savings on long term berthing, for the duration of the show the marina is holding all 2009 prices for the 2010 season, even if the VAT reverts to 17.5% as expected in January.

The marina has recently invested £2.5m into its facilities marking it as one of UK’s best equipped marinas. These upgrades include the construction of a new office building, new boat hoist, car park & boatyard extensions and, most recently, the refurbishment of the marina’s luxury bathroom facilities.

Charles Bush, managing director of Mayflower Marina, commented: “We exhibit at SBS every year and always find it a positive experience. In addition to securing new contract berth holders we often meet owners with boats based in the Solent who want to spend some time cruising the West Country during the summer months. Mayflower Marina is a great base to cruise from as it has access to so many fabulous cruising destinations within a day’s sail, and good options in poor weather.

“As well as meeting new customers, we are always delighted to see existing berth holders, either for a chat or just to rest weary legs! Do remember that the team you speak to on our Boat Show stand will be the same helpful people who you see working at the marina – customer service is key at Mayflower Marina.”
