Description
The tried, tested and well built Trusty T23 follows the traditional lines of the popular Trusty T23 but allows for much greater accommodation and improved performance. The available space has been used to the absolute maximum.
This particular example is in top order and has been very well maintained by her two owners. The hull has been copper-coated from 2009; and she was last partly recoated in 2018.

Construction
Full displacement hull with in Oxford Blue with cream topsides in GRP. This particular boat benefits from an extra 2oz hull layup for greater strength and additional ballast. The companionway door size is also slightly higher and wider, and there is a higher backrest to the helm seat. There is extra stowage under the dinette seat which was previously a void. Plus there is additional sound-proofing.
Interior is finished teak and holly laminate, with vinyl and GRP head linings. Soft furnishings are fire retardant and their are curtains throughout.

Accommodation
The Trusty T23 accommodation is cleverly designed and well planned packing in a lot for a 23 foot vessel, including 1.9m headroom. Also has the added extra of Webasto warm air heating throughout.
The Saloon is upholstered in dark blue throughout with matching curtains. There is dinette seating to port which converts to a small double/large single berth. Windows all round with opening ones on both sides; and there is a sliding cover to the opening overhead roof hatch. Plenty of storage space and sockets.
Galley is arranged to starboard with stainless steel sink and pressurised hot and cold mixer tap. Vitrifrigo fridge with ice box, small Belling microwave. Draining area/worktop space beneath hinged helm seat. Storage space and cupboard. Two fire blankets and fire extinguisher.
The forward cabin double berth has upholstered back rests (so can be used as a day-lounger) and storage below. It also included a shaped duvet, with nave and cream cover, pillow cases and two fitted bottom sheets. There are 4 opening portholes, with curtains. Also an overhead hatch, reading light and privacy curtain from the saloon.
The heads on the starboard side features a manual RM69 toilet connected to a holding tank with macerator; deck and through-hull discharge. The hand basin has hot and cold pressurised water with a mixer tap/shower head. The shower tray has electric pump-out, and there's an opening portlight for ventilation.
