This Princess V42 from 2002 is equipped with 2 x Volvo Penta KAD300 (2 x 285 HP) diesel engines, providing plenty of power for cruising at high speeds with reasonable fuel economy.
The boat features a stylish and spacious cockpit with a large sunbed aft. Beneath the sunbed is a garage with room for a dinghy. There is a roomy sofa group with table, wet bar with new fridge and sink, cockpit speakers, and a well-designed helm with a double seat.
The cabin is large and finished in the well-known Princess quality with fine materials, offering a big sofa group on the port side and a galley on starboard with stove, sink, combi oven, and fridge. The forward cabin has a large double bed and good closet space. The aft cabin features 2 single beds, good storage, a small sofa, and a sink. All mattresses were replaced in 2021. The bathroom has a new toilet from 2020, sink, and separate shower cabin.
The boat is equipped with Raymarine log, depth sounder & autopilot, Raymarine plotter with integrated radar, VHF, bow thruster and stern thruster (2024), searchlight, electric windlass at the bow, Opacmare gangway, ONAN 230V generator, hot and cold water, diesel heater for chilly evenings, shower on bathing platform, and dinghy garage, among other features.
All cockpit cushions were replaced in 2021 and upholstered with Newtech fabric. Canopy was replaced in 2021. Salon carpet was replaced in 2022. Chartplotter, radar, and autopilot have been updated to Raymarine. Water heater and batteries were replaced in 2021.
The boat’s interior woodwork is finished in beautiful dark cherry, giving it an exclusive appearance.
The boat was professionally polished and antifouled for the 2024 season, and a stern thruster was installed. It has also been prepared for the 2025 season with full drive service and regular engine maintenance.
