"Summer Storm" is a 2015 J/V designed TP52 starting life out in the 52 Super Series, where she was a multi-regatta winning boat as well as 2017 World Champion under the name "Platoon".
Her second ownership from 2019 (Ex-Outsider) then modified the boat for offshore racing, where she again flourished winning multiple headline events in class and overall at the C600 race in 2020 and 4th overall at the 2019 Fastnet Race (IRC).
In 2024 she went on to win the Block Island Race overall and Newport-Bermuda Race in class (ORCi).
Her current owner, who has continued the development and upgrade curve of the boat has followed a strict maintenance schedule since taking ownership in early 2024 and the boat presents at the highest level.
Additionally a huge inventory of sails in both 2024 and 2025 ensures a new owner is brilliantly setup for their first season(s).

SUMMER STORM, is the previous "Outsider" and "Platoon".
Now based on the East Coast, USA, she has been racing on both an inshore and offshore platform, thanks to her extensive upgrades and modifications during recent ownership, to ensure she can tackle both disciplines.
Built by Premier Composites, but overseen by the PLATOON team, she was a no expense spared original build for the Med inshore circuit, with final fit out taking place in Europe using the experienced eye of the Super Series team.
Full carbon pre-preg build, with nomex and foam cores throughout, she was a refinement of the previous generations and we still today see this vintage of boat on the Super Series taking race wins.
This generation of boat has proven exceptionally strong in the light and medium airs against the latest gen boats, but has enough of a performance upgrade compared to her predecessors (2011 vintage) to hold the upper hand.
Sold absolutely race ready, she is a standout option in the TP52 world, particularly offshore where there is a clear shortage of newer Gen boats that are capable when the going gets tough!
