Hallberg-Rassy 42 MK II, ELBIAN is a fantastic example of this extremely capable and well-proven German Frers design. ELBIAN is easy to handle, safe with her centre cockpit, and more than capable of taking on any ocean you set your sights on. She has just completed a detailed winter pit stop and is ready for new ownership and her next adventures.

Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Full polishing of the hull and antifouling – April 2025.
• Teak deck, screwed and glued. Original – refurbished 2022.

Keel & Rudder:

• Bilge keel with lead bulb.
• Semi-balanced skeg-hung rudder.
