Westerly Konsort 28ft.

She is a fin keeled vessel with an aft cockpit and is rigged as a masthead Bermudan sloop with a furling headsail. As she was built before 1998 she was not constructed under the Recreational Craft Directive and as she is not used on inland waterways, or for commercial purposes , no mandatory standards apply to this boat.

Hull

Round bilge configuration hull is of GRP moulding using chopped strand mat and woven rovings.

Anti - fouling paint is adhering well and no signs of osmosis.

Rudder

Transom hung rudder blade is of GRP construction hung on stainless steel top fitting.

Rig

'Gracenote' is rigged as a masthead Bermudan sloop with in line spreaders. The rig fitted with a roller furling headsail and stack-pack furling mainsail. The halyards and reefing lines are led back to winches and jammers on the coach roof.
