Salterns Marina is pleased to announce the first ever SANDBANKS BOAT SHOW. This initiative stems from having invested and geared itself for the Liverpool Boat Show which sadly collapsed only weeks away from opening.
Salterns spokesperson Russell Hayden said “We were more than disappointed when informed by the organisers of the sudden late decision to abandon the show. We know there are too many important boat brands within our area, to not do something to try and salvage what could have been potentially a great show and ultimately lead to sales. Within the Salterns Marina Group alone; which includes Salterns Marina, Brokerage and Boatyard, Offshore Performance, Poole Marine Services, Golden Arrow Marine and Motortech Marine, we have a huge range of diverse products, plus a large client base which would welcome such an event at the beginning of the boating season.”
This two day show is being organised and generously supported by Salterns Marina. This 5 Gold Anchor marina has already secured well known boating brands outside of the Marina Group including Sunseeker, Princess Motor Yachts, Fairline, Boston Whaler, Targa, Beneteau, Pascoe Ribs, Karnic, Windy, Williams, Sailtime and Searay, which will total over 50 boats. The generosity of Salterns has been extended to provide this year’s exhibitors virtually no financial commitment, offering berths and facilities free of charge to get this event off the ground. We hope this extends to the press and media in supporting this show in giving editorial exposure.
