TheYachtMarket.com helps get the show on the road

Europe’s biggest on-water boat show kicked off on Friday and TheYachtMarket.com was right at the centre of the action.

As sponsor of TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show, the company helped to ensure the show made a splash over opening weekend.

CEO Richard W. Roberts joined Made in Chelsea star and style icon Millie Macintosh at the show opening a blaze of pyrotechnics and glitter on Friday (Sep 15). A flurry of media interviews ensued, with TheYachtMarket.com appearing on everything from local radio to BBC television.

There was little time for rest, with TheYachtMarket.com hosting a press reception for the UK’s boating media on its stand at lunchtime on opening day. The company announced the launch of its New Boats Portal and unveiled its brand-new lifestyle video to a bustling crowd of journalists.

TheYachtMarket.com stand (E040) has proven a popular destination so far, with hundreds of visitors attending to check out the selection of boats for sale and listen to talks in The Knowledge Zone. The show’s younger visitors have also enjoyed getting their hands on the popular blue TheYachtMarket.com balloons.

Richard W. Roberts said: “It’s been an absolute whirlwind and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Being Title Sponsor of the show for the first year is incredibly exciting and it’s been important for us to get involved in as many aspects of the event as we can.

“We’re looking forward to another six days of hustle, bustle and fun and would encourage anyone attending the show to pay us a visit to be a part of it.”
